A close relative of the popular Trachycarpus Fortunei, this variety is prized for its compact growth habit, lush green foliage, and exceptional tolerance to colder climates. Hardy in most parts of the UK, very easy to grow and quickly grows into a beautiful palm tree that can be left to fend for itself in all but the most severe of winters.

Expect to see moderate growth during growing season. Favours moist but well drained
Soil that allows water to drain at a moderate rate, without the water pooling. Plant in a sunny or partially shaded position, ideally sheltered from strong winds. They thrive in well draining soil with a mix of loam and sand. Avoid heavy clay unless amended with grit to improve drainage.
